Website guidelines and information
« on: October 10/13/22, 2022, 02:02:39 PM »
Ok, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to give you a fair warning. This website WILL contain things that some people might find offensive. A lot of what you will see on this website, should you decide to proceed in using it, is adult oriented. This doesn't mean things like porn. You aren't going to find any naked girls or men here. Unless a user posts a picture like that. But if you happen to stumble on one of those, I beg you to report it to me so I can remove it from the website and ban the user who posted it.
What you will find, however, is adult language, dirty jokes and stories, profanity, and the like. But there will not be any belligerent racism, sexist crap, or hate speech. Sure, there will be the "an irishman, a german, and a french guy walk into a bar" types of jokes, but nothing that blatantly attacks an ethnicity or race. Know what I mean?
You will also notice that there are several levels of subscription options. Every level opens up a few more things on the site. More threads, more topics, more features, and, well, just more. These subscriptions help me offset the costs of making music. Whether or not it pays for itself, I will never stop doing it. I love making music, and I love it even more when people enjoy it.
And finally, today is the first time I have been back on the site and the first time it has been public in several months. There are a couple of reasons for this. The main reason was the fact that my old computer took a power surge, which cost my computer it's life. Without a computer, it's pretty hard to keep up with a forum based website, especially for me. I've never been real good at typing things out on a phone. So keeping people up to date on what is happening in my life, doing my daily blog, and all that other stuff would have just been a nightmare for me. There was also a massive bug in the site, which caused it to crash quite often, completely taking the site down for several minutes at a time. I have put some serious time into fixing this bug and finding a workaround, and I have made some amazing progress on it. But It's still not perfect. Most of the issue is being caused by the latest PHP update to 8.0. This really messed with a lot of the code that I and many other people have written. PHP updates have never affected our code anywhere near this bad. But this latest update REALLY messed things up. So although I believe the site will not crash and go offline anymore (not 100% sure of that, however), it may freeze up on you at random. So if you click a link and nothing happens, don't click on it over and over. Just give it 10-15 seconds or so, and it will respond properly. I assume this is being caused by this bug that was crashing the site, but I can't be positive. Unfortunately, if I can't get this bug resolved, I may have to remove the section of the website that it operates, which is, regrettably, my music playlist on the site.
But if I do have to remove the media player, I will find another way to get the top tier site subscribers the music that I promised them. Now that I am back up and running, I will begin working on daily blogs, posting jokes, funny stories, and all sorts of other things. My daily blog section (available to premium users) may not actually happen EVERY day, but I will post as often as I can, which will be several times a week at least, and probably a few times in a single day if something real cool happens in my life.
OK, I know that was a long post, but since I have been away from the site for so long, I wanted to get everyone caught back up. I also wanted to put up a warning to those who are new to the site and let them know that this is certainly not a family friendly site, nor is it safe for work as they say.
So yea, for those of you who are brand new to the site, there's your one and only warning. You will likely find some stuff that some people might find offensive. If you respond to any of my post claiming that you are offended, I'm gonna strip your privileges and ban you from the site. By continuing to the rest of the forum, you are accepting these terms. If you find something that offends you, you are not to reply to that thread or post with crap like "I can't believe you would say such a thing" or whatever people use these days. The same goes for messaging. If I get a direct message from someone with that same type of comment, you're gone. I don't post things that blatantly attack people's race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or things like that. I do, however, have strong political views and will likely post some of my opinions. If you disagree with my opinions, just move right past them. We will not start an argument. I am a republican, so if you are a democrat, liberal, or whatever else might conflict with republican views and you aren't capable of just scrolling right on by what I post, perhaps this isn't the place for you. I will, however, group these opinions and some of what are absolute facts into a specific category all in one place. So if you don't wanna read what I have to say about politics but you would like to read my blog, listen to my music, read some funny and/ or entertaining things, feel free to stick around and just avoid that one category, which will be clearly marked. Fair enough? Besides, if you are a democrat, I have nothing against you. Just because we have different beliefs doesn't mean we can't respect each other. Agree to disagree and move on. But I will absolutely not get into an argument with someone over politics, religion, or any other topic. Know why? Because I'm not gonna change what I believe, and I bet I'm not gonna be able to change yours. Right? If you wanna talk about politics that are different than the ones I like, feel free to make your own website and post them there. This is MY website, and I will share what I like. But like I said, if you don't wanna read my opinions on politics but would like to read some other stuff, that's easy to do. Just avoid that one area of the site. Cool? Cool.
Alright then. I think that's all for now. Like I said above, there is a LOT of content coming to this site that some people might find offensive. Actually, I know some people WILL find it offensive. But to be fair, there are always people who get offended by literally anything. Some people just wanna try to get under people's skin. Karens, they're called for some reason or another. There might be a name for the male population as well, but I don't know what it is. So yea, there's your one and only warning. If you get offended easily, this probably isn't the site for you. If you absolutely hate me simply because I am a republican, this isn't the site for you either. But I won't hate you just because you are a democrat or liberal or whatever. You have the right to support whatever you like whether I agree with it or not. But for those of you who have thick skin, can laugh at stuff even if the jokes, blogs, or stories touch a subject that some people might find offensive, stick around and let's have a good time. Keep in mind people, that what I post here are JOKES. None of them are meant to be blatantly disrespectful, tho I'm sure there are people who take them as such.
So there you have it. There's your introduction to the site, posted on October 13, 2022. ANYONE who violates the stipulations set above after this date will be banned from the site and all of your posts removed. Ignorance is not an excuse for not following these guidelines. If you failed to read this post and don't follow the guidelines within, that's on you. I know it was a long post, but I'd be willing to bet it takes you less time to read it than it did me to type it all out. Any questions? Feel free to ask... RESPECTFULLY.
Thank you, and have a nice day.

Website guidelines and information

Alright, children. Here's the deal. The site is being being relentlessly bombarded by fucking bots posting links to malicious, inappropriate, and/ or scam sites. Therefore, I have had to do a little tweaking. For the time being, people who register a new account will be able to see a few boards, topics, and comments. But in order to keep those bots from dropping all their shit in the replies, I have set all of the default boards to "Read Only". This means that nobody can post replies to any topics that I, Nadi, or any of my forum staff create. I know this sucks a bit for new members who don't wanna sign up for a premium membership, but I had no choice but to do it this way. Every day that I logged in this week, I had to delete literally dozens of bullshit replies to topics that contained dangerous links. Now, although most people are smart enough to not click those links and visit those sites, there are a handful of idiots that will. Some of those sites contain viruses, malware, and the like, which will sneakily install onto your rig. Some of these are keyloggers, phishers, or just plain "I wanna fuck up your system for Absolutely no reason but to piss you off" types of programs.
Should someone have that happen, not only will it make me feel bad and piss me off simply because I despise those things, as I'm sure most people do, but I can also be held liable for anything that happens on those sites that were landed on from my site. Technically, I can't be held liable, but a suit can be filed against me. Although I will beat it 99.999% of the time, it still costs me $450/ hour to have my lawyer defend it in court. Should the judge decide to be a dick, or it winds up being a big case (think if a keylogger snagged someone's bank information and drained a couple hundred grand out of their account), it could be tied up in court for a good week at 8 hours a day. $450X40= $18,000. Fuck that shit.
I will be adding some more boards here soon, and will continue adding more and more over time when I think of new ones. Some will be visible to everyone, guests and all. Others only to registered users, and others on a Premium Member tier-to-tier basis. I will also be adding a new group that people can be assigned to by myself or my site staff. Quick explanation as to how that works:
Once registered, you will not be able to reply to topics or create new topics by default. But a user can head on over to my Facebook page, message me, and I or a staff member can bump you up to the new group, allowing you to reply to select topics. All this does is prevent bots from posting replies. And it won't cost anything. A bot, you see, isn't programmed to take that step in order to get moved to the new group. Therefore, their reply will fail. This particular assigned group will not cost anything. Make sense?
Moving on.
Quick tidbit of information about little old me. That math up there... 450X40=18,000... I did that in my head in about 2 seconds. As many know, I am pretty good with numbers. Ok, ok, ok... a master with them. But here's the thing. When doing large problems like that, I take shortcuts, break the big problem down into smaller ones, solve those small ones, and the rebuild the small answers into the larger final result. I just do it so fast that it looks like I did it in one go. So for that problem above, here is my formula:

450*40
Step 1) Drop the two zeros.
45*4
Step 2) 4 is an even number. Halve it.
45*2=90
Step 3) Since we halved step 2, now we have to double that answer.
90*2=180
Remember those 2 zeros we dropped? Let's add those back on.
180+double zeros on the end=18000, or 18,000 when typed out properly.

If my lawyer takes 60 hours, he's gonna charge me $27,000. How do we know? We did that same formula above, except instead of halving step 2, we are cutting it into thirds. Then instead of doubling that 90, we triple it. Still look to big? Drop the zero on the answer at step 3, leaving you with 3*9, which for some reason is easier for some people than 3*90. But since we dropped that extra zero, we need to add it back with the 2 we dropped earlier.

See? Easy. I'm actually gonna make a board with match shortcuts that I use, and with some practice, you an be a human calculator as well!

Just for fun, while I'm thinking of it, here's another quick math tip for you: percentages are reversable. ALL OF THEM. Try 9% of 50. 4.5 is the answer. But its easier to do it backward. What's 50%, or half, of 9? 4.5. And if you wanna double check your math, multiply them. What's 9*5? 45. But since it's a percentage, we need to divide it by 10. Move the decimal to the left one digit. 4.5.

See? Easy!

You're welcome.
